The Kolbe & Castello Fund exists for a simple reason: a Catholic education belongs to every child — not only those who can easily afford it.
A Catholic education isn't a privilege for the few. It's a calling to serve every child.
We provide scholarships that make a faithful, classical Catholic education accessible to Kentucky families. We believe that calling extends to every child who longs for it — and we exist to answer it.
A Polish priest who, at Auschwitz, offered his own life in place of a stranger condemned to die. He is a witness to sacrificial love — the willingness to give of oneself so that another may live. That spirit animates every gift to this Fund.
Born in 1287 blind, small of stature, and with physical disabilities, she was hidden away and ultimately abandoned by her parents. The poor of the town of Castello took her in, and she gave her life to prayer and to caring for the sick, the imprisoned, and the dying. Canonized by Pope Francis in 2021, she is the patroness of those the world too often overlooks — and the reason our work centers on every child.

The Kolbe & Castello Fund is a registered 501(c)(3) scholarship-granting organization in Kentucky. By law, at least 90% of every donation goes directly to scholarships, with no more than 10% supporting the work of running the Fund.
The Fund is led by a board of Kentuckians committed to Catholic education and to the families we serve.
Scholarships from the Kolbe & Castello Fund support students at our partner Catholic and private schools across Kentucky. Our network is growing.
Are you a school interested in partnering with us? We'd love to hear from you — reach out and we'll start the conversation.
Giving opens January 1, 2027. Be the first to know when you can turn your federal taxes into a child's education.
